Meanderings #1: On the USA Consider it's genesis - stitched together over time from the brave and enterprising pioneers from all the countries of Europe, central america ,Asia and Africa. USA borrows from all nations of the world - a synthesis of parts. Yet this sum of influences effectively rules the planet.The USA is greater than the forces that created it. And it threatens to overcome it's constituent creators. Is this familiar? You bet buddy! The USA is the World's Frankenstein's Monster - bigger,stronger,more intelligent than it's creator. And ultimately it will find it's (materialist) self has no place anymore in the scheme of things. Will it lead the world into the wilderness as did the monster it's creator in the Shelley novel? The world already follows USA ideas : Japan even parodies it. Will the world follow USA to an inevitable self collapse? | |||||||||||||||||
